Friday September 5, 2025

  • 0800 hrs: Load bus (Parking lot E, in front of the Earth Sciences Building/CCIS Building)
  • 0830 hrs: Depart for Drumheller
  • 1130 hrs: Stop in Drumheller for a bite to eat and stretch (45 min stop)
  • 1215 hrs: Depart for the Royal Tyrrell Museum
  • 1245 hrs: Arrive at the Royal Tyrrell Museum
  • 1600 hrs: Load Bus for Calgary
  • 1615 hrs: Depart for Calgary Best Western Downtown Suites Calgary
  • 1800 hrs: Arrive in Calgary
    • Stay in your seats as your trip experts go into the hotel to grab everyone's keys
  • Evening: Grab a bite to eat. The conference room is available to hang out (feel free to bring in your own food and drinks)

Saturday September 6, 2025
  • 0800 hrs: Load bus at the hotel
  • 0830 hrs: Depart for Johnston Canyon
  • 1000 hrs: Arrive at Banff - Johnston canyon tour guide pick up (Boxed lunch included - eat on the bus)
  • 1400 hrs: Arrive Back at Banff
  • 1400 hrs: Depart for Lake Louise
  • 1445 hrs: Arrive at Lake Louise
  • 1615hrs: Depart for Canmore
  • 1700 hrs: Arrive in Canmore
  • 1830 hrs: Depart for Best Western Downtown Suites Calgary
  • 1930 hrs: Arrive at Best Western Downtown Suites Calgary
  • Evening: Grab a bite to eat. 

Sunday September 7, 2025
  • 0900 hrs: Load bus at the hotel
  • 0930 hrs: Depart for Banff
  • 1100 hrs: Arrive in Banff Explore or head over to the Banff Hot Springs the bus will take you there
  • 1400 hrs: Load Bus 
  • 1430 hrs: Depart for Edmonton
  • 1630 hrs: Stop in Calgary for a bite to eat
  • 1700 hrs: Depart for Edmonton
  • 2000 hrs: Arrive in Edmonton

What to Bring

  1. Comfortable Clothing: Layered outfits for variable weather, including warm clothing for cooler evenings.
  2. Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes for exploring, and hiking boots if you plan to hike.
  3. Swimwear: For the hot springs in Banff.
  4. Personal Items: Toiletries, medications, and any other personal necessities.
  5. Travel Documents: ID, travel insurance
  6. Sunscreen and Sunglasses: Protection against sun exposure.
  7. Bug Spray: To keep those pesky bugs away while enjoying the outdoors.  
  8. Camera or Smartphone: To capture the beautiful scenery.
  9. Reusable Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the trip.
  10. Snacks: For the bus rides and day trips.
  11. Daypack: A small backpack for carrying your essentials during outings.
  12. Cash or Credit Card: For meals, shopping, driver tip, and other personal expenses.
  13. Optional: Books or entertainment for the bus rides, and your favorite beverages or snacks for the evening.
